Fredrik Norrena and Linkopings improved their record to 3-0 today defeating MODO 1-0. Norrena made 18 saves for the shutout victory. Andreas Holmqvist again played on the fourth pairing for Linkopings.

Meanwhile, in the SM-liiga, goaltender Karri Ramo turned in a masterful performance for HPK, which fell 2-1 in a shootout loss. Still, Ramo dazzled stopping 39 of 40 shots in regulation and the OT session to earn second star honors.
