Denis Kazionov did not play as Novokuznetsk fell to Novosibirsk 4-2.
Evgeny Artyukhin was scoreless in Omsk's 3-1 loss to Spartak. Albert Vishnyakov did not play for Spartak.
Alexei Glukhov had 2 penalty minutes in Cherepovets' 2-1 loss to Yaroslavl.
Rumors in Russian newspapers continue to live up to their reputation as good bird cage liner. Vasily Koshechkin returned to the lineup for Kazan Sunday and improved his season record to 3-8-1 helping Ak Bars defeat Nizhnekamsk 5-1. Dimitri Kazionov had a goal in the match for Kazan as well.
Anton But had 2 penalty minutes in St. Petersburg's 3-2 shootout win over Khimik.

I'm not totally sure that
I'm not totally sure that the rumors of Esche going to Kazan are bunk. Kazan was/is believed to be looking for help because Mika Noronen is currently injured.
So although Koshechkin played, I'm not sure it means Esche isn't there, and that he might still lose his place once Noronen returns.
Also, not sure how reputable this source is, but Eurohockey.net reported on the 17th that Esche was acquired by Kazan, and it's supposedly been confirmed.
But it's a dang crap shoot trying to find this information, Google translators be damned.
