Ward, who has yet to score his first QMJHL goal, is still seeing ice time in all game situations.

Medicine Hat Tigers 3 @ Lethbridge Hurricanes 2
C Mitch Fadden, LET: 1-0-1, E, 0 PIM

Fadden’s goal, his seventh of the season, came on the power play. Traverse City Lightning and Norfolk Camp invitee Daine Todd had two goals for the Tigers.

Prince George Cougars 3 @ Brandon Wheat Kings 2
C/W Dana Tyrell, PG: 0-2-2, +1, 0 PIM

The Cougars were badly outshot (36-16), yet managed an upset road win over Brandon, ranked No.7 in the CHL. This was PG's first of six straight road cames in the East. Tyrell had the primary assist on the game winner with 48 seconds left in the game.

G Riku Helenius, SEA: Win, 29 saves on 31 shots, 1 Assist, *Second Star*

Seattle scored 6 goals on just 20 shots. Helenius had the primary assist on the T-Birds’ final goal when he sprung Jeremy Boyer on a breakaway. It was Boyer's third goal of the game. Seattle has not lost in regulation this season. Tri-City was ranked No.3 in the CHL in this week's rankings.

D Dane Crowley, EVT: 0-0-0, E, 0 PIM

Crowley was named the Everett Herald's Honorable Mention Star-of-the-Game: "The true unsung hero of this game, [Crowley] was a rock on Everett's defense."

Cowichan Valley Capitals 4 @ Victoria Grizzlies 7
W Justin Courtnall, VIC: 1-0-1, 2 PIM

Victoria had lost on Wednesday to the Capitals, 4-2 (Courtnall scoreless, 2 PIM). Courtnall's goal Friday came from behind the net when he banked a shot in off the goaltender.
