Lascek Named QMJHL Offensive Player of the Week

Chicoutimi Sagueneens right winger and 2005 Lightning fifth round pick Stanislav Lascek was named [url=http://www.lhjmq.qc.ca/lang_en/index.php?page=232&id_nouvelle=801] QMJHL Offensive Player of the Week [/url] yesterday by the league. Lascek scored four goals while assisting on five others for a total of nine points in four games over the past week. Saturday, he scored a natural hattrick against the Acadie-Bathurst Titan, which included a short-handed goal. Furthermore, while playing on a line with Sabres first rounder Marek Zagrapan, he scored one goal and one assist to help Chicoutimi defeat the Quebec Remparts 4-0 at the Georges-Vézina Center. Finally, in his team's 10-3 romp of Shawinigan, he notched one goal and three assists while taking six shots, totaling 27 during the four game span. The first player to win the award this season, Lascek also leads the league in scoring.
