Harju Strikes Twice in Preseason Tilt

Just a little taste of Swedish preseason action:

Lightning prospect Johan Harju had a pair of goals today in Lulea's 3-2 victory over Skelleftea. Former Lightning captain Mikael Renberg had a goal in the match for SAIK.

Nice start...

If this preseason game is any indication, it would have been nice if the Lightning could have lured Harju to North America to provide some 2nd line scoring depth for the Admirals. I know a single preseason game doesn't make a season, but that's definitely encouraging.

Now, if Lascek, and/or Smolenak could follow suit tonight in Traverse City...

It's Lascek's Time

Well, Smolenak traditionally plays well at TC, so if he fills it up that proves nothing to me. Lascek is the one I'm wanting to see score tonight because he hasn't in the past in TC. On paper, he should be the scoring leader of this prospect team. If he starts throwing out multi-point nights this weekend, that's a good omen.
