Elliot? Shorthanded?? The

Elliot? Shorthanded?? The man has been a power house lately, whats the deal? Whats this guys potential? I know if he makes it to the show it will only be for some cafe con leche, but does he have a chance to make it to the falcons on a consistent basis?? if so when

I think he's getting closer.

I think he's getting closer. The problem is, his role is as an enforcer and it's hard to justify carrying two enforcers when you already have talent like Lascek having to play in the ECHL because of the numbers game. At some point I think the Lightning will need to make a decision about Fritz's future and whether or not they think he can really make it to the NHL with his skating deficiencies. If they don't, perhaps they move him out and let Elliot be the enforcer in Springfield next year and sign Femenella to a minor league deal and start grooming him in Johnstown like they've groomed Elliot as the enforcer apprentice.
