Thursday's Superleague Scores

Note: Apologies for the lateness of these game recaps. Last season the Russian box scores would be updated by 1-2pm ET the day of games but early this year it's been like pulling teeth to get timely information. If only every nation's league had a website as easy to use as the Swedes or the Finns do, we'd be golden. Khimik defeated the Soviet Wings 3-2 but unfortunately Alexander Polushin was again a scratch. Dimitri Kazionov was scoreless as Kazan and Ufa battled to a 2-2 tie. Vasily Koshechkin rode the bench as Togliatti fell to Nizhnekamsk 2-0 with Mike Fountain in net. Albert Vishnyakov was a scratch as Dynamo beat Chelyabinsk like they were owed some money 6-2. Denis Kazionov was scoreless in Tver's 5-3 loss to Magnitogorsk. Alexei Glukhov failed to find the scoresheet in Cherepovets' 6-2 pummelling at the hands of Chekhov. Anton But scored SKA's final goal as St Petersburg fell to CSKA 5-3.
