    Evgeny Artyukhin scored Yaroslavl's only goal in their 1-1 tie with Cherepovets. Alexei Glukhov was scoreless in the match for Severstal. Artyukhin now has 3 goals and 10 points in 31 games this season. For comparison purposes, 2000 1st round pick Nikita Alexeev had 6 goals and 10 points in 40 games last season with Omsk in the Superleague.

    Vasily Koshechkin dropped to 11-7-3 allowing 3 goals in Togliatti's 4-2 loss to CSKA. CSKA tacked on an empty net goal with 1:10 left in the third to seal the game.

    Albert Vishnyakov was scoreless in Dynamo's 3-2 loss to Omsk.

    Denis Kazionov was scoreless in Tver's 4-1 loss to Khimik. Kazionov will not be appearing for Russia at the upcoming U20 World Junior Championships.

    Art Femenella was a +1 with 2 PIM in #13 Vermont's 4-0 win over St. Lawrence.

    The Catamounts are 10-5-1 overall and 6-2-1 in the HEAST. Vermont now prepares for the Sheraton/Bank North Classic Catamount Cup in two weeks. They open the tournament against Rensselaer.

    Mike Lundin had an assist in #3 Maine's 1-1 tie with Mercyhurst. The Senior now has six assists on the season.

    Marek Bartanus is still with Team Slovakia preparing for the WJCs as Windsor clipped Owen Sound 4-3 in overtime.

    Dane Crowley was out of the lineup today for Swift Current as the Broncos fell to Saskatton 5-4 in a shootout.

    Vladimir Mihalik is still with Team Slovakia preparing for the WJCs as Prince George trails Kamloops 3-1 in the second period.

    Chris Lawrence scored a hat trick and was +1 with 2 penalty minutes as Mississauga defeated Brampton 6-4. Lawrence was named first star of the game. The RW/C now has 20 goals and 40 points in 28 games this season. His previous best for a year was last season's 23 goals and 53 points in 67 games split between Sault Ste Marie and Mississauga.

    Marek Bartanus was scoreless in Owen Sound's 2-1 shootout loss to Barrie. Since a 4 assist night against Oshawa on November 3rd which at the time marked the high point of Bartanus' season, the Slovakian winger has had just 1 goal and 2 points in his last 15 games. Bartanus is also -8 during that span and has not been a plus player in any of those 15 games.

    Dane Crowley had a power play assist and 4 penalty minutes as Swift Current defeated Lethbridge 4-3 in a shootout to cap another come from behind victory. Crowley was also on the ice for the final shift of regulation where the Broncos scored with just 9 seconds left to force overtime and, eventually, the penalty shot session.
