Barberio on the other hand is gonna be following his buddy Labrie real soon if he doesn't step it up. Same could be said for Panik. Malone was not good tonight but it's his first game back so I'll cut him a little slack.
Ah but you missed the best thought of the night. According to Torts this was there worst game of the year and they did not deserve to win. WTG Tort's.

Final Bolts win that is all that matters.

52 and counting.

Great win, but I'd have given the 1st star to Johnson, 2nd to Palat and 3rd to Kucherov. Sorry Ben, the stand-up puck freeze between the skates was cool, but the short-side softie and the puckhandling were really garbage. Chief mentioned the unsettling effect it has on his teammates when even they have no more idea what Bishop's doing with the puck than the goalie himself. What is this weird new fetish of his, anyway? He wasn't doing this early in the season. Nobody needs a lump in the throat every time he goes a-wandering for a Smittydangle with the puck. I have no issue with being a smart 3rd D out there--Lord knows we can use it--but the deer-in-headlights approach, standing frozen over the puck, seemingly at a loss for what do next, is just bad. It doesn't resemble poise. After the 2nd or 3rd time, it was like OK, whatever you're trying to do, STOP. Please. (Can we blame Franz Jean for this? )

Bolts got some bounces tonight--as did the Canuckleheads--take the lucky 2 points and on we go to Cal-Gary.
