Default 12/23 - Lightning vs Panthers

7:30 - Sun Sports / FS FL

A little Christmas/Game poem, to set the mood...

'Twas the day before the night before Christmas, when all through 'Turd land, not a fan was stirring, not even ones with free tickets in hand;
The skates were hung by the lockers with care, in hopes that St. Victory soon would be there.

The Panthers were nestled for the pre-game nap in their beds;
While visions of Radko Gudas danced in their heads;
The team Doctor had come, after the last practice lap
And settled their brains for the post-Gudas hit nap.

When out on the Concourse there arose such a clatter,
The sudden realization, that your franchise doesn't matter.
Away towards the net, the Bolts flew like a flash,
Tore open their asses and the puck they did stash.

With Kucherov on wing, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment his goal would be sick.
More rapid than eagles, the line changes came,
And Cooper whistled, and shouted, and called them by name:

"Now, Flipper! now, Marty! now Purcy and Dr Drej!
On, Johnson! on, Guds! on Victor and A.K.!
To the top of the crease! Break thru the wall!
Now shoot away! shoot away! shoot away all!"

They thought a win would come from the right jolly old elf,
And I laughed when I saw the scoreboard, in spite of myself;
A wink from Coop's eye and a twist of Rick's head
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread;

The Turds spoke not a word, with head's hanging low,
And filled the hallway; walking ever so slow,
And laying his finger up in the air,
Bish exclaimed "See ya in March, if you even care";

Coop sprang to his interview, to his team gave them props,
Though the man advantage still needs work, 5 on 5 still pops.
But I heard him exclaim, as he walked out of sight—
“Thanks for Governor's Cup bitches, and to all a good night!”

That was pretty funny, rice...hot on the Bruins' trail, a win will put us one point out of the division lead heading into Christmas break

Good job Coldrice.

That glass is so funny. I could not believe they could not get the paper off. Imagine having seats behind that. At least they had plenty of open seats to chose from.

Bishop Starts in net:
Panik and Labrie are the healthy scratches and of course Brewer is out with an upper body injury(nothing major Coop says) so 11F/7D Crombeen and Barberio draw back in.

Game Prediction: Lightning 4 Panthers 1

One final thought: This is the first game since the "squirting" incident where Upshall sprayed Gudas. If I'm Upshall I'd be scared half to death right now knowing that Gudas will be looking for me
