Just so you know Hoek, we were all blaming you for going to the game when they were losing

Delicious win.

Anyone else remember all the years we couldn't buy a win in overtime. Now it seems like we rarely lose in overtime. Good conditioning of the players or just a different coach, I don't know but it's nice to see. Oh and the Radko's Redemption comment is a great title for a hit's reel for Gudas in the future

Any one heard anything on the Brewer injury? He was really favoring his left arm. It did not look good.

No official update on Eric Brewer's status after the game, but it doesn't sound too serious #tblightning

Thank you. We all were in shocked and wondered what SY next move would be if he was out any length of time as we thought the arm was broken.

Default Nice

What a great win, these guys just never give up, love the term Radko's Redemption. Peters was excellent in goal, but they just kept trying, we launched 49 shots on goal and stuck to the system. Hope Brewer is not hurt just sore. The kids seem to be maturing nicely and this stint without Stammer seems to be bringing out the best in them. It is really nice to see this improvement and it bodes well for Stammers return.

Jeff Skinner would probably agree...loved seeing Gudas send him to the showers when he made Skinner one with the wall, knocking him and his stick flying and taking him out of the backcheck...Radko never would've been able to outrace Skinner and launch that laser to the top shelf. Beautiful hit, even more beautiful shot for the OT GWG. Radko's Redemption was as Gudas it gets!

Of course that game never should've gone to OT, as Filppula scored on the PP but it was incorrectly waved off. For everyone fortunate to have gone to the game in person, the DVR's stop action (which the officials have as well, meaning there's no explanation for denying it) in the overhead view shows the puck clearly visible through the webbing of Peters' mitt, completely inside the net, behind the crossbar--good goal. You want to reach through the TV screen, grab the ref and go, "Hey...see that little round black thing right there? That's the puck. He's bulging the twine with it."

So anyway, two actual PPG scored on five chances, thank gods the power play is back to life. Peters played a good game in the face of 50 shots but got the benefit of that one plus the no call when he played the puck in the corner area, plus others like the no call on Purcell getting blatantly tripped right in the slot toward the end. Still got the win, although you hate seeing a point wrongly given to a conference rival...we'll take the two and ride off into the Sunrise for a couple more...

Not sure if you caught it on the replay, but that little shit was embellishing the hit. He went down in a heap, covered his face, and then started to peek around to see if it worked. When he saw it wasn't he got right up and started skating. Sucker.

I was wondering if it was just me who thought Peters played the puck in the verboten area.
