But he is good when playing that style. One thing about Ovechkin - he #SHOOTSTHEPUCK he could very well end up with more shots than our team with the way he has been playing.

We could use some tutoring on shooting the puck from anywhere, anytime versus always looking for the pass.

win some face offs
stand tall at the blue line
fore check like crazy
Put the puck in the net on the PP
Someone clean the deck in the crease.
Someone to stand in front of the net for us.
Charge the net versus doing the shuffle off to Buffalo three step away from confrontation at the net.

Simple basic hockey.

Ok from what I've gathered on Twitter it appears that:
Bishop is starting and Panik replaces Tyrell so still 11F/7D also Labrie would have been cleared to play and I assume in tonight but he is sick so he's still scratched.
I think these next few games could be the most important for Panik. If he doesn't show up there's a real good chance in my opinion that he could be packing a snow suit and heading to Syracuse. The last couple years Panik has been a force for Syracuse/Norfolk and a complete pain in the ass for the opposing teams to deal with. He needs to find his inner assholishness and put in on display .
Hopefully Gudas gives Ovenchicken a few hard hit's tonight.

With all that said: Go Bolts

We can only hope that Panik got the message and decides to show up. He is more than capable but has been MIA in the best part of his game. Putting the puck in the net. Cooper has in the past been able to spark his game let's hope he comes in dialed up and ready for the task at hand. Some OVI bashing <GRINS>

Yeah he's still on his entry level contract and hasn't played a full season so I believe he can be sent down

http://www.mcsorleys-stick.com/nhl-w...les-explained/

Here's the full rules since Panik signed when he was 20 he'd have to played 3 seasons or a cumulative 160 games

Craps are going with Holetby

All that needs to be scribbled on the dry board in the locker room is

Shoot. The. Puck.

But before he can be sent down, the 2 that are here on an emergency recall have to go first.

Yes - that is correct forgot that little tidbit of contract stuff.
The emergency recalls must be sent back before he can be moved.
Let's hope the light is turned on and he has learned a 'new ' lesson from the coach.

FWIW: Coach said he has spoken with Teddy about shooting - interesting.
