Default Team Record with players in/out of lineup

So with all of the injuries lately I was curious how the team's overall record is with certain players in or out of the lineup so I did a little research and some of the results were rather surprising.

So far this year after 28 games we have had 9 skaters play every game so far:
St Louis: 26pts overall team record 17-10-1
Filpulla: 20pts overall team record 17-10-1
Purcell: 16pts overall team record 17-10-1
Killorn: 16pts overall team record 17-10-1
Hedman: 15pts overall team record 17-10-1
Johnson: 14pts overall team record 17-10-1
Carle: 11pts overall team record 17-10-1
Palat: 9pts overall team record 17-10-1
Thompson: 4pts overall team record 17-10-1

Now to the rest:
Panik: 10pts in 26 games: team record 15-10-1 with him and 2-0-0 without
Brewer: 5pts in 26 games: team record 16-9-1 with him and 1-1-0 without
Salo: 5pts in 25 games: team record 15-9-1 with him and 2-1-0 without
Crombeen: 3pts in 25 games: team record 16-8-1 with him and 1-2-0 without
Malone: 9pts in 23 games: team record 14-8-1 with him and 3-2-0 without
Gudas: 6pts in 23 games: team record 14-8-1 with him and 3-2-0 without
Sustr: 6pts in 21 games: team record 12-8-1 with him and 5-2-0 without
Stamkos: 23pts in 17 games: team record 12-5-0 with him and 5-5-1 without
Barberio: 2pts in 15 games: team record 10-4-1 with him and 7-6-0 without
Labrie: 0pts in 12 games: team record 7-5-0 with him and 10-5-1 without
Connolly: 1pt in 11 games: team record 7-4-0
Brown: 2pts in 11 games: team record 5-5-1

So to no ones surprise with Stamkos the team had the best record with the team while in the lineup but I do say I was a bit surprised to see that the second best record was Barberio. Also of note the teams best record with that player out of the lineup belonged to Labrie and Sustr which was a little surprising. Now I'm not saying this has any effects on the actual individual players game but I just found it interesting and though I'd share.

Great stuff Derek, don't know how you did this.

The things about Barberio and Sustr are really amazing, almost counterintuitive. We usually think of "defense winning championships", and these data either don't support that...or show that Barberio isn't as ineffective on D as his PR, and Sustr not as effective. Or something else is skewing the numbers, because frankly I hardly ever notice Sustr making mistakes, especially in his end. He's so reliable at clearing the zone, it's hard to see too much offense developing in our end during his shifts.

Part of it may be skewed by one or the other playing more games against tougher teams. Hate to give you more work, but maybe break that down a bit?

Good idea, I think I'll look at that and really it's not extra work. My college statistics professor allows us to do individual research on any topic for extra credit so I always do mine on baseball or hockey stats, so really I'm just doing homework
