Yeah hard to fault the effort there, though I can fault the refs.

I can't be mad at this loss. The bounces went Pitt's way and Tampa played them hard, actually played better for most of it. Just couldn't bury their chances.

I thought Pittsburgh was the better team and had a few bounces go their way.

I went to the game tonight. The amount of Pittsburgh fans was baffling. Seriously go back to Pittsburgh.... It really sucks that tampa is a melting lot for crappy weather cities.

I though barberio played a very strong game. Kucherov still was impressing me and still generating offense. I thought we dumped the puck in too much. We would dump; penguins would control and thow across to the other side. Our forecheck wasn't effective as it usually is. Give that with us not catching a break, plus Pitts getting some fortunate bounces = we lose. Not an embarrising loss though and they mostly played a strong game

They were. They also out muscled us. Seems when ever we look like we may create a good scoring chance they just had you lift our stick. No excuses for that other than hit the weights.

You have 2 types of Pittsburgh fans. 1/2 of them are direct from the current Yankee, Heat mold - they move from team to team based upon whichever team is winning. Hell, the guy behind me in the Cindy sweater didn't even know what state Pittsburgh was in - he thought Pittsburgh was in New Jersey.

The others are transplants that only root for the home team when they are good.

Honestly, other than Cap fans, Pen fans are the most fair weather fans that come to the forum. Before they got Crosby and started winning, there weren't 250 of them at the Forum.

For all those who say that Pittsburgh is a great hockey town - Pittsburgh was closer to losing their team than Tampa ever was.

But then Saint Lemiux rode in on his magic, golden hockey stick and walked on water to the lottery machine and blessed it so Crosby would fall into their laps.

At least, that's what the scripture Pierre lent me says.
