Can't help but laugh at Edmonton. All of that young talent and not much to show for it. They'll get Ekblad and still finish bottom 5 next season.

Hopefully we'll still be laughing tomorrow night.

Play a full 60 minutes without a shift off, that's all I ask. When this team does that, mighty giants fall. Sat. @ DET and especially the Veterans Day game @ BOS will be the tests. Currently we're tied for pts. w/DET and ahead of BOS, but if the Bolts handle those two division road games as I believe they can, and actually put up a regulation win in Beanburg, that will be cause for some celebration

Criminals vastly prefer unarmed prey.

Last night's Flyers - Canes game was one of the most excruciatingly boring and terrible games I've ever seen.

Possible future Lightning Timonen picked up a point on a great point shot. Soon to be albatross Claude Giroux improved to just over 0.5 points / game.

Let's make a Stamkos vs. Giroux poll

I love the ending, though. Manny Malhotra with the breakaway game-winner!

Elsewhere, the Sharks beat the Sabres, but nobody noticed, and Buffalo got the win in the standings.

Leaving Vegas this morning. Was looking at the sports odds at 7:30 and the sharks only cost $115 to win $100. Easy money right? And I couldn't get to the cage before the game started. So I guess I won after all.

No surprise on Tootoo. DET at the top of the cap list with only ~$500k in free cap space and Tootoo with a $1.9M cap hit. That's pretty much a no-brainer.

See if Poile picks him up.
