This.

Or, even better, grabbing a nice grilled burger and fries basket in the plaza and watching the band play while you enjoy your chow.

This makes no sense. The Trop should have great concessions I mean food quality normally degrades with volume. How hard is it to cook for 40-50 people?

They had 3 trucks there tonight. The nice thing is that if you purchase from a food truck you will be allowed to take the food into the arena.

Bad news is the prices inside the arena. A 24oz beer is $13.25-13.75 depending on the brand.

A bag of peanuts is $6.25. A coke is now $5.75

The good news is that they have incorporated the sales tax into the prices again so the lines move quicker.

TNW, did not see any burgers out there as I think the trucks replaced them. I did hear that Holy Hog on the Part Deck was very good. Didn't see the prices.

That is the problem. They cooked for 25,000 and have held onto the left overs to serve at the remaining games.

I ate at the Cuban sandwich truck. Had a turkey sandwich for $8.50. It was large enough for 2 people and was excellent. My wife had the prime rib sandwich with fries from another truck and was also very pleased.

The owners seemed disappointed at the number of sales, but a regular season game would have about 5 times as many fans attending and not everyone knew about the trucks.

It wouldn't be an everytime event, but when running late, I wouldn't hesitate to go to one of the trucks again - it would certainly beat anything inside - except the Firestick grill.

My two cents on the Trop - I've enjoyed a Kayem frank on two separate occasions and found myself firing brown bombs the next day both times. I'll never eat there again.

When the Trop first opened, Carmelita's had a kiosk. I have to wonder if the lease is too high for any vendor selling quality food to make money given the abysmal attendance.

Mr. Empanada charges roughly 3 times the price for any item on the menu at the Forum compared to their retail stores. Again, lease too expensive?

I think Westshore Pizza cited the same problem when they left the Forum.
