Yeah. My eyes hurt from reading it. My head hurts from thinking about Vinny playing for the revolting scumpigs and their subhuman douchebag fan base. My stomach hurts from spewing plumes of puke like boiling lava with the force of a firehose. My back hurts from wiping down the ceiling and walls and mopping the floor. My nose hurts from the burning, acrid stench--and the barf stinks too. My throat hurts from shrieking "NOOOOOOOOOO!! AAAAAGHGGHAGHGHGUUUGH!!! ANYONE BUT THE FUCKING FLYERS!!"

Sorry Vinny, we love ya as a human being...but whenever we see you in that nauseatingly ugly uniform, we gotta first retch a little...then hate your ass just like any other stinkin' Flyer. Bad call, dude. Yuh coulda been with a contenduh.

LOVE the fast-food analogy. Ain't sports fun?

I know it's making me pretty surly... He should and will get a standing O when he returns, I'm sure the Bolts will honor him like the Rays did with Shields when he returned to the Trop. But signing with the Flyers stings...a lot.

One of the few good things to come out of this is Vinny is likely to put up points with that offense - more so if he's rejuvenated by the events of this summer - so that will help him in building an eventual HoF case. He's currently 107th all-time in points.

Philly wasn't my first choice as to where I hoped Vinny would end up. Better there than Boston or Pittsburgh or Washington, though. Thought he'd fit in well with Detroit, but didn't want to face him in the new NW+Florida+Michigan division. Would like to see him get more hardware, but it'll just plain be odd if he wins another Cup with the Flyers.

All of Montreal (and noted anything-Lightning-related hater Ken Campbell) are both losing their shit over this

This whole week has been painful... I've never had any love for the Flyers but they weren't quite at the top of my shit list.

I imagine he could have gotten more from another team. $4.5M over 5 is not bad at all. Wonder why he chose Philly. They had a down year but they're generally in the playoffs every year.

Holmgren can trade him back here anytime.

And now we know you the Flyers used their 2 buyouts.

Lecavalier: "I'm tired of playing on an offense-first team with a weak blue line and shaky goaltending. So I am signing with the Flyers."

Lecavalier basically had his choice of eating in any restaurant in the world and chose a crowded Sbarro in a bad neighborhood.
And Vinny has spoken the truth. Are you listening Mr. Yzerman and Mr. Vinik?

Some day maybe they'll wake up & realize that the only FCs who go there as FAs are the 3rd rate ones. Who wants to go there & put up with the nonsense?

You think those are actual quotes? Does that sound like something Vinny would say?

Do you think Lozo would tweet that and attribute it to Vinny by placing it in quotes?

Vinny got the shaft here. We was lied to by other general managers who claimed they would not trade him. Since the Cup he never was given serious line mates. Do I think Vinny is pissed about being cut, yes. Is he better off, hell yes.

So Sotnos, does it really matter if he said it or not? Nope, because it is true. Our blueline has sucked for years and the goal has been god awful.
