The players of the other pro sports, soccer and basketball especially, should be ashamed of themselves for whining like bitches at the smallest bumps and scratches and sitting out.

Being originally from a rival city, for me no connection of any type whatsoever exists to that swirling, teeming cesspool of crime and institutionalized corruption that is Chicago--I rooted for POS BOS to lose, plain and simple. What special connection, besides being first to lose to the Lightning in Oct. '92, are you referring to though?

Bergeron has been in the hospital since Game 6 with a small puncture in his lung. It's said that he got that injury after the game, otherwise he wouldn't have been able to play. My thoughts is that he got it from the broken rib.

Tough as nails, you gotta love hockey players.

How many times have you stubbed your little toe at home and hopped around like it was shattered and yet on the ice in a beer league game take a slapper off the side of the knee and shake it off the for the next shift?

Well, I don't think that's really a fair statement.

Now that you mention it the endorphins probably kicked in when I tore my MCL and just kept skating for the rest of the stick & puck practice session

hey, I paid my $10, I ain't gettin' off this ice till the Z pushes me off

(never claim not to be crazy--that way you can't get in trouble later)
