The Rangers finished 1st in the conference and went to the conference finals last year, why would anybody think he'd be fired after that?

I'm sure a few people on this board will say otherwise but he's a good coach. With his style though he's not going to have a long shelf life. I doubt he'll be out of a job for long.

When James Dolan is no longer the owner, aka never.

Torts played to his team's strength. The Rangers really weren't as good as last year made them out to be; without Lundqvist it's a whole different story.

I wonder if Sather gives Jesus Iginla an 8 year deal after Richards is bought out

Last year, even with the team they had, there were calls for his head when ever they did not win. Hey, that's the market he as in.

Who is Michael Grange? It's funny that no one realizes it's an act to take the focus off his players (most of the time).

It's also hilarious that I know many Rangers fans who hate Torts for what he did to Sean Avery. Kind of mind bottling... that team did better without him.

Bring him here as an assistant.

I know that's not going to happen but it would be entertaining as hell to see.

Since Feaster hasn't been fired yet, I wonder if ownership would listen if he tried to hire Torts? Wouldn't that be ironic, Feaster and Torts in Cal-gary?
