Not if the league doesn't put out a memo, maybe with a remedial video tutorial hosted by Mickey Mouse, for the benefit of those referees who can't distinguish hockey's signature hit from "tripping"

The Gudas game fits right in with the Eastern Conference style of play. Victor's is more suited to pond hockey and therefor fits with our teams primary asset - Pond Hockey Players. It will be the job of Coop to figure out how to entice, demand, require the harder style of play. I believe his term is pugilistic..... the new name on the back of my Jersey!

I have faith in that. When he came into the league, Hedman had a nasty streak in him. It was coached out of him. I think he can get it back.

But that was before his injury troubles. Its possible that he has weened himself off of physical contact to preserve his health.

No, because before a single injury, he was sat down by Tochet and told they want him to concentrate on his positioning before worrying about hitting (I remember this like yesterday), and get back to hitting after that. Then Guy came in, who we all know is not big on his dmen being physical. Could the injuries now play into it? Maybe, but the history of why he lost his physicality had nothing to do with it.

Nah, Hedman is just a bust and another soft Swede who won't even occasionally hit someone with his purse like the Sedin Sisters did last night.

Also, buyout Gudas too. I'll be calling for his head next year when he gets more ice time and doesn't turn in 82 flawless games

Love that Gudas got a deal.
Gudas=Scott Stevens
Hedman=Scott Niedermayer

I hope those two get to play for a long time for whoever signs them after we buy them out.
