Letang, Subban, and Suter are your Norris finalists.

Even though he missed two-thirds of the season Karlsson deserves to be included.

You know, I've been watching the Ottawa/Montreal series very closely, and I am shocked that Subban is a Norris finalist. I mean, yes, he scores. But he takes terrible penalties, gets way out of position all the time, and makes a lot f very bad decisions with the puck. Maybe it's just the playoffs and he didn't do this in the reagular season, but to me he has not looked good at all.

I see the same thing as you do Halo.... that and he is one of my least favorite players. I don't particularly care for his showboating and all the bitching he does either. Defensemen are supposed to quietly do their jobs and not bring attention to themselves. The forwards get the glory and the fame. IMHO

I agree, but I'm trying my hardest to look beyond that, and at least based on this series, I don't see all the hype. Maybe it's just my preference, but I want dmen that play defense well, not rush up the ice.

Subban is actually doing quite well for someone who lost an arm after that Vinny slash. Or was it his leg? Still, quite the comeback story. I think that seals it in his favor.

LOL! Subban is the "Mike Green" finalist I suppose. I like Markov more personally.
