Default ECQF #4 Bruins vs. #5 Leafs

NHL.com series preview

---

I predict this won't be pretty.

Jimmy Reimer is gonna have to bring it. As well as the Maple Leafs collectively, but Jim needs to hold down the fort for his boys. The Leafs can get it done offensively, but obviously so can the Bruins. Essentially, if the Leafs come out on top, Reimer will be their MVP.

I'm expecting about the same from this series as I am from Chicago/Minnesota. The team that more recently won the cup will slaughter the other.

Ugh. Hate this series...rooting for TOR to lose means rooting for BOS to win, and vice versa. I just want it over. You know what, just hand out the Cup to someone, anyone, it doesn't matter after the fake lockout-season, and start training camp already--Lightning will need all the workouts and practice they can get if they hope to try to maybe escape the bottom half of the league a year from now

Watching a team crush the Leafs has a way of endearing them to me. Go Bruins! That I like their style of hockey. Marchand, annoying as he is, always seems to be the spark for that team.

As much of twitter-verse has documented, the Leafs were more focused on preening and watching themselves in the playoffs, than actually playing a playoff game. Gonna be a short series unless they decide to show up and play instead of showing off that they made the show.

This clip brings memories back to me, watching game 6 in Calgary projected on the wall of the parking garage @ the Ice Palace #sadface

Did it say how the MakeBelieves actually preened and watched themselves? I have images of them primping in the reflection from the glass while the opposition blows by with the puck
