TJ with a hat trick and his line has 3 PP goals and 1 SH goal en route to a 5-3 Game Two win. Syracuse and Providence look like they're on a collision course with TJ vs. Chris Bourque.

Syracuse shuts out Springfield 3-0 in Game Three. PTP gets all three goals, including shawties by Palat and Johnson.

The SyraNo players have won 16 straight playoff games going back to Game 5 of the Connecticut series last year.

They are just playing lights out hard nosed hockey continuing the script that Cooper laid out for the organization the last few years.
When you play solid hockey even the goal tenders start to look awesome.

Pete have you had the chance to watch any of the IIHF games?
If so do you have a take on Bishop's poor play in these games?

The USA coach decided to start the 19 year old rookie Gibson based on performance. This goalie situation is critical for the team to begin a move forward. I have watched 3 full and 1/2 of the last game with Bishop in net and he has not looked good at all. Do you see this as a possible concern next year?
When I watch him play he is not coming out to challenge the shooter, leaving the goal post open for shots and the five hole is like a red light district welcome sign for the men of the world.
Someone stated previously this championship was nothing more than exhibition hockey, maybe it was you not sure. However, you would think that he should be playing well against arguably weaker competition than what he has shown to date.

Any thoughts on his play? Appreciate the input.

World Championships = glorified exhibition games.

That is all.

Yeah, they're glorified exhibition games and he's playing on a larger ice surface behind a defense he's not accustomed to. Between that and the golf courses beckoning, I wouldn't assume it has a huge bearing on the Bishop we'll see in the Fall.

SyraNo with their 4th straight sweep and 17th straight playoff win.

Providence is up 3-1 in the other series with Game Five tomorrow in WBS. The longer that series goes, the more behind the 8-ball the P-Bruins will fall from a fatigue/health standpoint.

Syracuse Fans are getting away with highway robbery having to just pay $25 to see that team play playoff hockey. That team could beat the Panthers.
