Default Frantz Jean to return

From todays Times:

if a new contract can be worked out (and there doesnt seem to be a reason it will not) Goaltender coach Frantz Jean will be back next season Yzerman said.

"He's extremely professional. He's bright and represents our organization well. And I like his philosophy on goaltending. It's straightforward and fundamentally sound."

This isn't going to popular.

For fuck's sake, take the blinders off people. Jean = bad goaltending in Tampa.

Edit: For clarity, the people in this case are the Lightning brass.

Does it say he'll be back in Tampa or just back with the organization?

Does it say that fans will be offered there money back if by chance they bought season tickets for next year. I think there would be many a co-owner that would like to cancel the ticket.

How can this be - Is there something we are not seeing.

For the record, I had wanted Jean gone as well.

However, I'll play some devil's advocate for a second and step away from the mob-mentality. How'd we do with Cap Raeder? How about Jeff Reese? (Do me a favor and don't look at Philly's GT situation for the latter.) Has there been anything other than what Roloson has said that would fuel this disdain for him? Honest question. Last point - no one said we were going to, right away, get an awesome goalie in Lindback and Bishop.

Our future is in Syracuse. The two goalies are goalies for the future. They'll grow together whether that's next year or the year after.
