Thumbs up 2013 Trade Deadline -- Other Teams

Sabres trade Leopold to the Wild for a 2 and a 5, the 5 can become a 4 if the wild win a playoff round. To bad we couldn't trade them Salo or MAB.

Default 2013 Trade Deadline

So, a few things have already happened with a day left before the actual deadline. Buffalo is giving up some of their top blue liners, Calgary sent Bouwmeester to the Blues. What's next?

Kiprusoff to Toronto?
Luongo to Toronto?

It seems as if Ryan Clowe has worked out a deal with the Flyers, so that will make them that much harder to stand.

Frans Nielsen is also in trade talks, and could be on his way to fill out the 2nd line center position in Chicago.

...What will the Bolts do this year?

I guess not. I hadn't really looked at that thread, I thought it was strictly talk concerning Lightning trade speculation.

My apologies.

In my opinion the point of a forum is to make new posts for new topics. Ie: trade deadline. Not to see how many posts you can cram into a single thread.

Maybe these concerns about threads should go in a separate thread, but a while back the furor was all about how people were creating TOO MANY threads that inevitably contained similar, overlapping or related information (such as this one) and they were continually being consolidated so we wouldn't have to read a number of threads about the same type of topic

You are certainly free to suggest to the moderator/administrator that there may be threads that could be combined. Suggestions are welcome. Can't catch everything. Thank you!

I suggest the "Trade Speculation", "Trade Deadline", and "Trade Deadline -- other teams" threads be combined. IMHO no need for three threads about one topic. Then, any time an actual deal involving the Lightning happens, someone will create its own thread anyway.

The object shouldn't be to see how many separate threads can be created about every little item, because it's a virtual certainty that'll get out of hand again quickly

You're fine, Bolts4Lyfe. Your post is in the right thread. This wasn't about you at all... you just got caught in the middle.

I have, however, renamed the "Trade Speculation" thread to "Lightning Trade Speculation" since that was the topic that Mike and the rest of the posters in that thread were discussion -- trade speculation specific to the Bolts. I could see how that could be confusion.

I like the two trade threads. Too much traffic was going to around the nhl, this makes it easy to find
