3 goals aside, I like how Desjardins is playing, his "floppiness" is a sign or ability, that if harnessed by a solid goalie coach, will be quite an asset down the road. I don't see him playing worse than Garon, nor do I think he's had enough time to adapt to the NHL style.

No doubt, he's very flexible and can get into the splits quickly. He just needs to use it less frequently, and maybe learn to get up faster as well. Personally, I think we should be willing to explore a trade in net. That'd perhaps set up a 50/50 split next season and take some pressure off Lindback. The market for goalies has been very soft recently too.

If I had to guess, I'd say Guy Boucher won't be inviting Marty St. Louis over for any BBQs in the near future.
