Default Wow

Well most of us figured that after last nights lack of effort might result in this, surprised that the assistants are coaching...well for what that is worth. Wonder how long before Cooper is called up?

I am 50-50 on this, but wish Coach Boucher well. I guess there has to be accountabilty and the head coach is certainly on the hot seat at all times. Like players, there are alot of good coaches out there.

I found when I was coaching youth hockey that I had to be adaptable to change the system as every year as I had a new combination of players with unique challenges to over come.
Perhaps Guy just could not make the right adjustments at the NHL level.

Will be very interesting to see who SY brings in.

Should be an interim coach until the end of the season and then bring in Cooper for next year

I have already seen Ruff's name mentioned?!? Would not be MY 1st choice (Cooper would of course) but I have never been a fan of recycling old coaches.

I just can't see Ruff being hired while Cooper and his players have been the brightest spots of this franchise the past 2 years. Old recycled coaches will always be there, Jon Cooper will be gone next year....

EE says Ruff is number 1 choice. I cant see this being first choice. Maybe it is because he is more defensive minded?? Idk. Liked boucher and wish him well.

Get Cooper up now. This season is saveable still.

Seems a bit risky to dump coach Coop in as first time NHL head coach in the current situation. Why not promote one of the assistant coaches to head coach and Coop can be brought up as an assistant coach? Have him working the offense or PP.
