Not just pass first, fancy BS that does not work in the NHL first. Flick your stick first mentality as opposed to clear the crease. Let guys get killed first instead of defend teammates/goalies mentality. Our mentality is run and hide in a corner at the first sign of physicality.

In the English, there's really no term adequate to describe our team. Boucher really needs to move along. Our team's timing, gap control and rotation sucks, all over, offense and defense.

On the bright side, Gudas is good at hockey. Aside from the good stuff in his own zone, anyone notice how he shoots for a deflection in front, instead of going high and wide / right into the other team's shin pads, for a change?

For all the goalie blame, it once again falls to having absolutly no system in place right now and just trying to go through 5 guys without worrying about leaving teammates (specifically goalies and d partners) out to dry. Boy, Rick Nash would fit in great here.

I agree though, Gudas should be here rest of the season. I would take him over any dman we have right now.

He did. Would have been 3-0 without his save. Remember when giving up "only" 3 goals was pretty much an automatic win?

Not sure if its the MSG feed - to be honest, both the Rangers and Islanders look about as exciting as the Devils on most nights- but that was an ugly game in many senses of the word.
