It's a matter of perspective. People are complaining about him, because once you see how a guy plays when he "puts forth an effort", they like it and want to see more of it, and so it pisses them off to see him lollygagging around some nights.

I absolutely agree, although he's been putting in his best efforts in a long time this season. But he's much harder to move with his contract than Purcell.
