I don't think they make any major moves in the trade market this year. Perhaps Brewer would go, but no one else. The youth movement is coming, and picks are going to be priorities to Yzerman if you ask me.

Pouliot isn't anyone's idea of a power forward, but it's hard to argue he's been soft this year. I'd certainly take him back next year at a similar price, despite our abundance of forwards.
I'd get rid of Malone despite a lack of an immediate heir, and Brewer - whose sustained regression (along with Ohlund's absence) - has really hurt. I'm also hoping Marty feels like Teemu and plays another 4-5 years. If he does want out though, think you have to honor the man's request. |

He's no power forward but he still scores the garbage goals that need to be banged in, much like Malone does when he's on his game.
