Agreed. One thing Purcell does extremely well that no one else (not even Stammer or Marty) does is his ability to "slow" the play down when he gets the puck. Our team has always had a bad habit of playing frantically with the puck and not taking a moment to find the right play. Purcell seems to slow down the game when in possession of the puck which, in my opinion, is a rare talent not to be undervalued.

Back on topic, very excited to see Killorn & Panik get a shot with the Bolts. Hopefully they stick and can make an impact. It would be exciting to have a roster featuring the likes of Stamkos, Conacher, Panik, Killorn, Connolly, etc for years to come.

Wouldn't be much worse than what we have seen this year. Lindback, to put it politely, is a "work on progress". Garon is what he has always been.

I don't hate Purcell by any stretch. But to me he to often seems to coast along, and sometimes he needs that kick in the pants to get moving. Plus, I just don't think he and Vinny gel very well. To be fair, I have only seen a handful of games so far this year, so maybe I have just seen some bad ones.

At any rate, all I ask is whatever the lineup combo is, KEEP THEM THE SAME THROUGHOUT A GAME FOR MULTIPLE GAMES!!!!! This tweaking and tinkering drives me mad. It never works because as soon as they find a lineup that can't be stopped (i.e. Cory/Stammer/MSL), we break it back up.

Let me ask you experts on why the heck Tyler Johnson is not being called up or even mentioned??! What else does the guy need to do?!! His stats have been impressive for the last two years (CONSISTENT)! If they can't use him TRADE EM so he gets an opportunity somewhere else.
