We need this game as a 'w' our next three are against Jersey, Bruins and the Rangers again. All hard forechecking teams who at the moment we don't seem to match up to.
If we play 'OUR GAME' much more difficult on the road because you can't control the matchups like at home.
Let's see if the 'd' corp hokey pokey ballerina dance from Saturday was an aberation.

It will tell us a great deal about our chances when the games start to count not the pond hockey of the first 7 games. Now we have some meat to test our metal did we learn?

And yes it is mettle - that will be tested in the next 4 games.

All questions to be answered in this four game road trip.

It's not do or die but it will go a long way to letting us know just how good we are this year.
