2. Myers has been struggling/regressing over the last year or so
3. Myers has a 5.5 million dollar cap hit
4. Boucher coached Aulie-Myers during the WJC, they were his top 2

I don't see how that would work with our cap at all, without trading someone we want to keep.

If we could get him that would be awesome but it would, as has already been said, be pricey and cause cap problems next year.

If it were to happen somehow Ohlund would most definitely need to be off the books one way or another next year. If you look at their D corps Myers is the only righty. Thats nuts.

Since Ohlund can't skate he would be placed on LTIR and his caphit would be removed so the only problem with him is the actual dollar amount you're paying him.

The key to everything is the cap hit.

Next years cap is 64mil
we have 15 players signed now for a cap hit of 57 mil (including prospal still a 1.67 hit). We need to sign 7 more players at a minimum how do the numbers work?

Realistically, I imagine it costs you something along the lines of Brewer and Connolly, possibly with something else coming back the other way.

A blueline with a young Hedman and a young Myres is intriguing, though.

I was thinking about the same price wise. Would be a good move for us long term.. Not sure how Buf fans would feel about it though.
