Boy I still have a ton of worries about this defense, but gotta admit it's nice to see our record sitting side by side to Washington's. And Conacher is just, wow. Boy I wish he was up last year as well. And I'm liking Aulie. That Sens player is lucky the ref was in the middle of him. And the refs are just, dear God, they are terrible (and saying that as they helped us).

Well- not entirely Pete. He made some huge saves on breakaways to hold it, very timely- no way he can defend the net against Hedman too, who had a SWEET tip to the top shelf- wrong net though veector! I'd like to see his GAA come way down though, so I'll agree he needs to be better, but he was excellent at the right times....

I was at the game and the place is awesome. That screen is incredible, the atmosphere is incredible, and just the whole experience was great. Aulie played a very good game and didnt take ish from no one. I really like how our guys are standing up for our goalie when they crowd him. Conacher is continuing to impress and Pyatt/Pouliot played fantastic in my opinion.

This team is showing a ton of grit and playing like they have all been together for years. Looking good. My only complaint is Brian Lee.I dont remember him being this off last year, but he is our weakest link on the team.

That was a thing of beauty. Those guys are lucky the ref had a good hold on Aulie.

BTW, what in the f* was going on with the penalty calls on that play? I can see maybe, just maybe, a 2-minute PP for OTT, but...

Have to agree, this was probably the most I can remember the calls going our way in a while.. Karlsson battling Pouliot for the puck and winning should just be good hockey. There was at least one other phantom call in the first against ottawa.

um no. The Karlsson play was clearly interference. Neither had the puck and he checked him into the boards 10ft before the puck. Most of the other calls were questionable though.
