I'm not 100% sure about this but I believe Taormina, Labrie, and Angelidis were never "sent down". I think they signed AHL contracts with Syracuse that was allowed by the NHL because of lockout. I think Oberg was reassigned.

I think you're right. trying to find a link but I think they both were on ahl contracts. but I don't think there will beany probel. there will be so much movement in the next week. dozends of players will go through waivers

Yeah, I already had him penciled in on Vinny's wing. More seasoning? I'm guessing he was one of the guys Y went there to speak to personally.

yeah I think its as simple as that. more experience. a guaranteed top line spot/top 6 spot with the crunch

Well the kid is second in scoring, leading / tied for game winning goals and did win one of the shootouts for them. I'm not sure what they are looking for or is it that Boucher does not like his style of play. Shoot the puck, score and play extremely well on the PP.

Whatever, one can only shake his head on this one.

Yzerman also said Brett Connolly "not in jail." His development will be better served right now playing more minutes with Syracuse.

My read on that is we can't afford to put the best players on the ice and need to have several 200k floatboys.

I wonder if they would send Hall, Wyman, Crombeen, MAB, or Mikkleson down if they felt the AHL guys were better.
