Tonight is a night that I have been looking forward to and dreading at the same time.

We knew after the move last summer that this day would come. So far I have been very touched by the comments from last year's team about the feelings about Norfolk.

That being said, tonight they are the opponent. I will be pulling for the team in the Admirals jerseys. But that won't stop the memories going through my head.

One of the real downers about the team move was that due to the new affiliation I would not be following things here as close as I used to.

Thanks Hoek. But such is life. No matter what we can never be denied the great memories of a magical season. The players will always be a super bunch of guys.

Recently our new affiliate has been on the upswing. Most importantly we still have hockey in Norfolk.

Hope Syracuse appreciates the gift of this team falling into their collective laps.
