I would have to think that at his age, and the offer of a 4 year deal, in order for him to take it the team would have to be a Cup contender. I doubt he would want to go out his last 4 years without a chance for the Cup.

I say someone like him since he's probably looking for a chance for the Cup, as many of you have already said. Because of that, the insane contract would probably have come from a non-contender with deep pockets. My two pennies.

I was hearing from reputable people on Twitter that was the price "to get him out of Phoenix." I'll see if I can go back and find out who specifically said that.
