Another "possible" 3rd line center, Cal O'Reilly signed today with KHL team http://www.metallurg.ru/site/news/read/73722/

Not real high on my list, but a guy I thought had potential. Another player IMO misused and discarded prematurely by Barry Trotz (like Peverly). Once Crosby was healthy, was really no place for him in the Pens roster even after the Staal for Sutter swap.

I guess the real question is he is marginally better than Nate Thompson? Probably not. Probably a better playmaker and maybe better goalscorer, but lacks the physical play that at least Thompson brings.
