Funny, when I first read that, I read it as Jonathan Bernier... I guess I have the goalie thing so stuck in my mind...

I was really hoping SFY would sign Chris Kelly as a 3rd line Center to replace the loss of Moore, but Boston resigned him the other day.

BTW, here are all players (either UFA or RFA) in need of a new contract this summer.

UFA
D Brett Clark
D Bruno Gervais
D Mike Commodore
C Trevor Smith
C Adam Hall
RW Tim Wallace
RW Brandon Segal
LW Mike Angelidas

RFA
Brendan Mikkelson
Brian Lee
Evan Oberg
J.T. Wyman
Jaroslav Janus
Jon Kalinski
Keith Aulie
Scott Jackson
Sebastien Piche

I think JT Wyman is an RFA and that list doesn't have any of the other RFAs

Well... admittedly... that was one reason I mentioned a Damien Brunner watch party as a tongue-in-check to everyone busy with the Jonathan Bernier watch party.

Speaking of which, isn't Yzerman spending the Weekend at Bernier's?

Just wondering what your thoughts on his decision in the future? Curious b/c I halfway expected a decision already or at the very least soon after the transfer agreement was put into place. Thanks

Oh... I dunno... maybe TBL isn't his destination, or maybe the organization has been caught up in the Calder Cup playoffs, or maybe the organization just wants to wait until after the Stanley Cup media blitz is over. Hard to say.

Things usually pick up during the two weeks between the Cup Finals and the start of the draft.

Outside of the big names which seems to me as wishful thinking for the Bolts, which names intrigue you? For me the name I keep coming back to is Roszival from Phx. He was a beast for them in the playoffs and would be a solid top 4 addition to our defense.

I'm probably just a bit impatient when it comes to this stuff (strange b/c my favorite pastime is fishing but I digress).
