The Tampa Bay Lightning (36-35-7) sit in 11th place in the East as they take on the Washington Capitals (40-31-8) as they hold onto the 8th and final seed in the Eastern Conference. This is the final home game of the season and is also "Fan Appreciation Night".

I would love to spoil their playoff hopes, but that just hands them to Buffalo. Ughhhhh.

I don't mind if the Caps win tonight. 2 reasons: Girlfriend is a huge Caps fan, and will give us a better draft pick.

I'll still be rooting for a Bolt win and a Stammer trick.

... and would also hand the Turds (blehhheheh) the Division. I'm having to pick the lesser of 3 evils here. Sabres, as a team, I can root for to make it when stacked up against the other two. If it wasn't the Sabres, and down to the Craps and Turds, then it'd be the Craps then the hot dog/beverage vendor at Consol Energy Center over the stinkin' Panthers!

To see the Turds possibly be bounced out (very slim chance but mathematically still doable) at the very end of the season... I could kayak from here straight to Sunrise on the river of tears from Turd Nation! Priceless!

They only need a point to lock it up though.

At this rate, it's all about Stammer60 anyway.

Exactly.

I really don't care about the East too much now that the playoff picture is pretty much set. I guess my favorite team in the East will be NJ (And I don't even like them) so as far as the 1st round in the EC goes, I only care about 2 things:
1.Watching the Penguins Vs. Flyers series
2.Praying for a humiliating 1st round exits for the Turds.
