Someone go take out Malkin and Stamkos might be able to catch him in these last few games

Default Thought

I thought I was going to get my wish tonight...oh well have to wait for the next game to see Stammer break the record. These guys played hard but geez the mistakes just compound themselves. Hedman coughs up the puck and they score goal #2. Aulie took the body and made some decent plays I hope a good D coach can help him develop his game. Yeah gotta love Nacho, always plays hard. I liked the line of Malone, Pyatt and Connolly. They worked well together.

I thought we were getting new equipment to fix the ice problems. Once again the ice looked awful. I lost count how many times a player had the puck and went to shoot it, only to have the puck stick on the ice and the player over skate it. This should not be happening with NHL ice. The worst spot is around the northeast end circle.

I wonder if when they opened the 4 ends up if this made that much of difference in the air flow.

Good to see Roloson finishing his NHL career not poorly.

Would love to see 91 hit 55+ by the end of the year. It's tragic he won't be skating in the postseason after a season like this one - Yzerman and Boucher were nowhere near as good at their jobs this year as he was at his.

(sorry for the bitterness, I'm still mourning the loss of the '11-'12 season - one trip to the playoffs in half a decade is no fun)

This team needs to stay healthy and get some better coaches.

Next season will be telling. Mark of a good staff is the ability no adapt and make corrections and changes. If they have a Jon Gruden mindset, going to be a rough road.

I forget who posted it, but someone last summer put up some stats on Boucher's career with certain teams, highlighting the sophomore season; I don't think he's ever had a good sophomore year. Let's hope history continues to repeat itself and he gets his team back on track for next year.

And yes, staying healthy would be nice.

With as much turnover as I'm expecting, its going to be more re-learning of the system next year.

A lot will depends on how SY tackles goalie and defensive problems this off season.

Ah, Roloson was quoted in the local media that he wants to play another year. Thus he is auditioning, hoping to connect with someone this summer. I just hope it's not with us.

Er, well, hopefully it's the Hasek route and he heads to Europe if that's the case.
