He served his purpose... he went thru his audition, the Org got their look-see (assessment forthcoming), bought time until Yzerman found his European netminder in order to send Tic back.

I'm sure the decision was made last week to send him back, just the timing of Caron's contract and subsequent waiver process made it necessary for him to stay thru tonite's game.

Now I won't doubt that his psyche is a tiny bit singed, but as we keep saying repeatedly, the kid is mentally tough and whatever sliver of doubt that may have crept into his head will be quickly erased the second he returns, gets some wins under his belt, and more importantly...

What does this even mean? No one's blaming them for everything (check out all the constant ragging on our D), but he's let some through that he shouldn't have. He's young, he's been a winner his whole life, he's learning a lot right now & he'll be on a plane tomorrow, so maybe you should relax a bit.
