I spotted him coming out of the locker room during Peckham's post game interview with Boucher, dressed up in a nice suit but with a visible limp. Then I see this article in this morning's paper. Not good news for the team and our defense. Also in the article, news re Wayne Fleming, and reading between the lines, things are not going well.

I do not think we will see Ohlund playing again.

Though I'd love to see Ohlund back and in good form, I'm really hoping Fleming comes out of this one.

I am also beginning to doubt it, and even if we do how effective will be possibly be?
Agree that sounds bad about Fleming, what a shame. ![]() |

If he retires, why do we have to buy out his contract? or am i missing something?

I think pete is saying if he doesn't retire and just tries to sit on long term ir. I think insurance kicks in on long term ir too..

His cap hit still stays on the books, though. You can buy a very good player for his cap hit in the final two years of his contract, and a lower line guy for the subsequent years his buyout lingers.

Why does his cap hit stay on the books? He isn't an over 35er like marty.
