Maybe because the contract is for the 2012-2013 season he can be signed at anytime since we are no longer playing.

Didn't even know Switzerland had an elite league, good for them. The more countries adding players to the NHL, the better. (The hell is up with Norway and Iceland, anyway? Get on the "stick", fellas!)

If it keeps growing at the current rate, eventually hockey will take over as the #2 sport on earth if it isn't there already...although, with hockey players not falling down shrieking and writhing in mock agony whenever bumped by an opponent (outside of Carolina that is), and with the fans not regularly stampeding or slaughtering each other, it'll never be #1

I must say though...many times I've wanted to go after referees in hockey they way the soccer fans do...

Don't think these have been posted, but the new AM show on 620 has been Lightning heavy so far, interviews with Yzerman, Stammer & today they had Leiweke on.
