Trying to link it, but traveling and on phone

Latest update on Vinny:

Damian Cristodero ‏@LightningTimes

Lightning's Vinny Lecavalier says x-rays on left foot were negative, though he will have an MRI exam today as a precaution.

Vinny has a "bone bruise" and is listed as day to day. But he "doesn't plan on missing any games".

Just get better Vinny, we need you at 100%.

Absolutely. A bone bruise, unlike a "charley horse", is an actual diagnosis, arguably the worst kind of bruise to have, and Vinny's discomfort right now is extreme because bones are wrapped in skin-tight tissue packed with a ridiculous amount of pain nerve endings...but at least it wasn't a fracture. No doubt that ankle bone hurts like a flaming bitch, enough to keep a normal person in bed for a while; but as an NHLer he'll be able to skate as long as he can get the boot on. Probably a pair of goals and an assist vs. the stinkin' Flyers are his reward...

Epitome of "I don't want to make a thread for this" - has anyone seen Lightning jerseys on sale (in stores or online) that already have the 20th anniversary patch on them?

Tyrell is on waivers. So much for everyone in the last couple of Game Day threads saying he needs to stick around.

Curious about the thinking of putting Tyrell on Waivers. That was unexpected imho.
