I have a feeling, in that position, considering Yzerman took Connolly, he'd bite on Rielly if the board set up that way.
If the board falls that way, I definitely take Reilly, too. Although, I wouldn't be disappointed with their pick, either, but I think a lot of people here would. Apparently, for a big guy, Reinhart isn't as physical as scouts think he should be.

If it's my pick, I'm weighing Pouliot against Rielly, with Maatta getting a brief glance.

Don't sleep on the fact the Lightning have probably seen Maatta a jillion times

Winning is the best development, right? Are Knights stacked again this coming season? This might be something else to think about who's gonna be drafted.

Pouliot intrigues me, for sure.

The Knights are always stacked. The only thing that scares me about Maatta is I doubt he is a first unit PP guy in the NHL. I think he tops out as a 20-30 point two-way guy.

Also considering I've seen him (Maatta) fall down to at least the 19th pick in mock drafts, I don't think I'd like to take him at 10, but rather grab Pouliot or Reilly (if available.) My gut still tells me a forward will be taken with the 10th pick - Collberg. Dunno why.

I'd be ok if we got Collberg and Skjei or Koekkoek as our 1st Rounders.

Aberg > Collberg

The difference, largely, is skating.

Just a 4-game look at him in the Memorial Cup, he looked like he had all the tools but was a turnover machine....(Wishart?)

Maybe at 19.....In the small sample, he just didn't seem like a 10th pick to me

Like I said, just a gut feeling. Although, whenever I read a mock, Aberg was generally lower than Collberg. Skating is key, though; one of the reasons I hope we grab Skjei is because of his skating.

I think I'm the last person in the universe who doesn't think taking a goaltender in the first round is a bad move.
