If Grigorenko's there, I think you really have to think 2-3-4 times before passing on him at 10. That would be a shocker to me. I also think it'd be a shocker if Dumba fell to 10.
I do think they go dman, though... obviously for organizational (not NHL, though coincidentally it matches) need, and because Murray said again that dmen are so hard to find and they're lucky because this draft is full of them. So what kind? A year ago, I think they wanted fast, skilled dmen that could retrieve the puck quickly. Boucher pointed out that if you could find one with size (like Hedman), it was a big bonus. But... I think the selections of Lee and Aulie pointed to a switch in philosophy that defensive awareness and size were more important. I think we need both an offensive weapon and a strong stay-at-homer that is capable of 2-way play. In that sense, if Reilly and Reinhart are the top two there for TB, which one do they take? I would pick Reilly because you can find big stay-at-homers later, but I think they may choose Reinhart instead because of his size. His lack of physical play I don't believe is a big concern to this regime. I'd rather they just take Trouba and be done with it. From what I've seen of Ceci, if he could develop his defensive game, he'd be a home run. |

If Dumba falls that far, I would trade a late 2nd to swap picks to get the kid.

by hook or crook or giving Ducks a draft pick for exclusive negotiation rights and pulling Schulz out of the hat? I'd still trade a second plus our first to move up to get Dumba... it is a possible given Vinik and Stevie Y and Schulz is a smart kid.

I don't thin you can get schultz. now ducks have for 30 days exklusive option to sign him. I won't give up anything for his negotations right since I think he will play for the ducks, toronto(best buddy jake gardiner) or canucks(he's from bc).

Craig Button has the Lightning taking Rielly. Again, if Dumba slips to 9, Yzerman better damn well be pulling off a swap with Winnipeg to get him. It's interesting because he has Dumba and Rielly as his personal #2 and #3 best prospects. http://www.tsn.ca/draftcentre/feature/?id=49649

1. Not in our division next season
2. If it would benefit them it would make sense that they would |

I thought they will be in the SE again next year because the conference realignment was shot down by the NHLPA?
