2012 Entry Draft

Connolly, pick 23, and the Flyers' second for Schneider. No team in the NHL can match that package, IMO. Probably overpaying, but who cares? Once you have Schnieder, Stamkos, and Hedman in place, Vinik's money buys the extra forward or two you need around them, in any given year.

D-man at 10, goalie at 37 (Minny's 2nd), and BPA at 40 (our pick). When Florida takes their second, you can use their 2013 second to acquire a veteran D at the next deadline.

RLR has Trouba outside the top-10 in their last rankings. If he's there, he's a great fit. Maybe Oscar Dansk at 37?

Reily, Trouba, Reinhart, and Ceci would be wonderful at #10. As for goalies there's hardly any consistency in the mocks as to who goes first between Vasilevski, Dansk, and Subban. Although it does always seem like one is there when we have our first pick in the 2nd.

I'd be pretty damn happy if Trouba fell to number 10.

Vasilevski would be a great pickup (better talent than the other GTs perhaps?) but how easy would it be to get him to come over to this side of the pond.

I can't imagine how sick I'd be if he turned into another Smith/Denis and Connolly became a perennial all-star. They need to be 1,000% sure on Schneider.

After looking at the CSS final rankings(won't know for sure until IIHF u18 tourney and Major-Junior/Memorial Cup playoffs conclude) the 4 players I would be thrilled with at 10th are(in order):

1. Dumba
2. Ceci
3. Trouba
4. Reinhart
