Default 2013 Entry Draft

I know it's way early to talk about the 2013 draft, but I couldn't resist coming out of today's CHL Import draft, but here's a name to remember

D Nikita Zadorov with CSKA, Jr.
6'4" and 205 lbs
2-4-6 in 41 gp for CSKA, Jr. last year but 63 PIMs and +20
2-0-2 in 6 gp for WJC U18

Selected #4 overall by CSKA in KHL Draft
Selected #9 overall by London in CHL Import Draft

1. He's Russian
2. He's in the CSKA organization
3. His first name is Nikita
4. He's teammates of Kucherov and Gusev
5. Good chance he'll play for London

Any one of those points gets you on the Yzerman/Murray draft list, but all 5 points? Put him on your list now!

Any early speculation as to where he might go in the draft?

I would love to believe Quebec can lure Kucherov over. He'd absolutely dominate the Q.

Nathan MacKinnon projected as the #1 pick and draws comparisons to Crosby.

There's a lot of great players in this draft. Mackinnin, Jones, Drouin, Barkov and many more.

Crazy deep draft

He might would put up 175 points in the Q. The fact that Grigorenko came over to Quebec last year from CKSA, Jr. might be the model Kucherov is looking at. Wonder if Patrick Roy has some inside info of the probability of that happening since he selected him in the import draft. That would be so huge. 2012-13 in the Q and then 2013-14 in Syracuse on a line with Gusev and Namestnikov.

Bobbie Mac tweeted the 2013 CSS Pre-Lim Rankings. I know it's not the same with the work stoppage right now but anything to juice the geeked-up meter, I'll take.

As usual, the rankings will shift. It is a little noteworthy though, the Top 10 (Edit/Add - Meant to put from each League - Hit post too fast)
