BP staff,
What program do you use for your embedded Tweets on the main page? I'm building a website for my band and wondered if you had recommendations for what to use on our site.

Thanks all

Soul-infused rock band that writes originals. Think a mix between Red Hot Chili Peppers, Coldplay, and Cee-Lo.

Once I get the website up and running with a couple of songs mixed, I'll let people know if they're interested.

Where does Coldplay fit? They are as much of a rock band as Bread and as soulful as Celine Dion. I am offended that you would even mention them and the Red Hot Chili Peppers in the same sentence.

My musical editorial for the day.

While you're waiting (I don't know what Tim uses), this is what I use at work: http://www.rssinclude.com/ Free and quite customizable.

Edit: Damnit, that's for a blog feed, not Twitter, sorry.

It's not like we copy both those bands. We take pieces of them and that's how we make Fourmanchu.

Please note my lead singer has been known to rock a Bonnie Raitt song while on the piano. And he flippin' owns that performance. Coldplay can really rock out; just gotta listen past all the effects and radio singles. If you don't know them very well, take a listen to Violet Hill off of Viva la Vida.

Like all bands, we have other bands influence us as well: Muse, Jack White, Radiohead, Primus, STP, Lenny Kravitz, and Jamiroquai to name a few others.

Hehe, thanks anyway. I think that's the one my vocalist uses for his own blog too, so we'll probably just adapt it to ours.

I don't know the particulars of it, but I know the tweets that have the hashtag #bpmb get posted here.
